CoachMoseley.com – The Concord Youth Wrestling Club was founded in 2022. After a successful first year with 14 wrestlers the club continued in 2023 growing to 34 wrestlers. The club is currently in its third year with 40+ wrestlers. The CYW Club is a USA Wrestling Club and thus each member must obtain a USA Wrestling Membership. The CYW Club is for children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. Our hope is for younger kids to gain the skills necessary to continue their wrestling involvement through middle school and high school. That said, wrestling teaches valuable life skills as well as athletic skills for all, regardless of if they plan to continue wrestling beyond our program. Practices are mostly designed for a younger group to learn the basics of wrestling takedowns, build up endurance, develop their athleticism, and gain proper skills to find success in the sport. Whether brand new to the sport or highly experienced we hope to help your child develop an enjoyment for the sport of wrestling and to help them develop the skills to find some success in the sport.
